Kibbutz Kefar Masaryk, a green gem next to Akko, offers families and organizations fascinating tours through kibbutz living. At the beautifully renovated original kibbutz buildings, visitors can get a glimpse to early 1940s kibbutz living – the pioneers (Haluzim), clothes, rooms and pastime culture.

See the authentic 1940s shoemaking workshop, with the sweet essence of kibbutz childhood, red shoes and vintage Israeli sandals; a porcelain display from the kibbutz’s factory, Naaman Porcelain; Founder’s House showing what living in a hut in the 1940s-50s looked like – the cooking pot, tiffin carrier, bug spray and old radio, and you can also see the public buildings – commune, laundry room and children’s houses.

Visitors can book folk dancing workshops, group singing, porcelain plate painting, sandals making workshop, gathering tours, early settlement fashion show, old-time games and more.

Groups can book kosher breakfast and lunch meals at the kibbutz’s dining room as well as overnight stays at the kibbutz’s accommodations.

Kefar Masaryk has a shop selling Galilean produce – boutique wines, natural cosmetics, special kibbutz items and more.
