Kalderon MD ltd. Is a studio, visitor center and factory for designing and making hand-made glass, overlooking the forest and sea at Kibbutz Hanita. The heads of Kalderon MD are Danny and Michal Kalderon.
The leading designer is Glass Artist Danny Kalderon, graduate of Bezalel Academy and founder of its Glass Studies program. His works were showcased in exhibitions around the world. While Danny is in charge of design and creation, his wife Michal is in charge of managing and marketing the factory.
The glass factory was opened 20 years ago and today its unique hand-made glass creations adorn hotels, restaurants and private homes around the world.
Working with customers is a creative and fascinating process, based on needs, understanding and creation that arise from the meetings.
The studio is open for workshops, meetings and visits for both individuals and groups.
Meet the artist at his workshop, tour the factory and get to know the production process and other activities and interesting workshops that are available.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
