Alaa Musa, who always dreamed of cooking, traveled to Europe and worked at several Michelin-starred restaurants. When he returned to Israel, he decided to open a restaurant with Marwan So’ad, a childhood friend, and together they have been running Elmarsa restaurant since 2012.
Chef Alaa likes to combine different cooking styles and play with flavors and inspirations. The result is a variety of savory dishes such as the seafood casserole with shrimp, calamari, crabs, mussels and clams in crab sauce, the fishermen’s kebab served with spicy okra sauce and lemon tahini and beef fillet medallions in gorgonzola sauce, porcini mushrooms and creamy parmesan mashed potatoes. A great combination of local and European cuisines with fresh sea ingredients and raw materials.
For those looking for the lively nightlife, Elmarsa also has a bar, separate from the restaurant, with drinks menu, small dishes and a special atmosphere.
