Samir Asdi, founder and manager of Turkiz Restaurant, moved from photography to the restaurant business.
Over the years, the passion for food and the smells of the kitchen pushed Samir to fulfill an old dream. With a deep breath and a year of planning, he founded the Turkiz Restaurant with his wife, Nahla.
Turquoise’s kitchen offers special and exquisite salads, dishes and desserts with a taste of home and love.
Turkiz is a Mediterranean-style cafe and market restaurant. The restaurant is located between the market and the marina of Old Akko, in a small and picturesque alley, which the owner has decorated with flowers, plants, and night lighting.
You are invited to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of Turkiz during the morning with breakfasts, coffee, and tea on Samir’s beautiful collection of dishes from around the world as well as desserts made by his own hands.
During lunch and dinner, you can enjoy a variety of meat dishes; entrecote steak, tomahawk, lamb chops on the taboon, meat and vegetable cuts on the taboon. At the seaside corner, fresh fish from the market ― sea bass, salmon on the taboon, and fried or boiled seafood.
You can enrich your meal experience with a variety of Arabic-style salads alongside a sumptuous plate of hummus and tahini, chopped salad, and tabbouleh.
All will be wrapped in Samir’s eternal smile, his love for hospitality, and his exquisite hand in the kitchen.

Uri Buri Restaurant

Uri Jeremias – one of the owners of the Efendi Hotel, is best known for his long-standing and famous restaurant Uri Buri. On the roof of the main building of Akotika is the Lotus Restaurant, which serves a fine traditional Akko breakfast and a pampering brunch every morning.
You are invited to a breakfast that respects the raw materials, quality coffee, and a view that reminds you why you are not in a hurry anywhere.
Breakfast is served every day from Sunday to Friday between 9 am – 11 am in an “all-you-can-eat” buffet style with rich cheeses, fresh breads, homemade dips, omelets, and more.
Between 11 am – 1 pm you can enjoy a pampering brunch and a varied menu.
