The exhibition, which will open on July 27th and is the third exhibition to be presented at the JNF-USA Information Center in Old Akko.
The theme of the exhibition “Grandmother’s Wall” – is a tribute to weaving, embroidery, knitting and sewing, and we continue to present, expose and promote local artists and creators. The third exhibition of the Information Center will deal with the context of eclecticism of cultures, composed of different fragments that together create a whole thing. Asian writer, exhibition creator: “There is something magical about craftsmanship, in an activity that has the skill and nostalgic feeling of craftsmanship, not doing or manufacturing, handicrafts, pleasure in contact with material, composition, stitching, ornamentation. A whole life in one space, fascinating and different worlds of 6 artists from the Galilee, displayed together in the gallery space and signaling themselves out in their own way.
