Yotam is a tour guide and educator, born in the village of Clil in the Western Galilee, who offers a variety of tours to get acquainted with the Western Galilee on different levels. Yotam also guides family trips and trips for the elderly, is a seeker of knowledge and curious.
Among the tours is a trip to Old Acre, a trip following in the footsteps of the Crusaders in the Galilee from the Old City of Acre to the mountain fortresses. Including a visit to the outdoor market, the fishing port, a tour of the walls and the khans with a cup of coffee and a hot kanafeh, culinary touches and local stories. Tours can also be combined with artist in studios and galleries (option to incorporate an experiential workshop) and/or a delicious visit with cheese makers, winemakers and other quality boutique producers.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
