At the heart of the Yiftah’el Winery is a beautiful wooden cabin, originally built in 1840 in the Appalachian Mountains by a Scottish immigrant to the United States. Allen Radley, a Jewish resident of the area, purchased the cabin, dismantled it and had it shipped to Israel.
With Radley’s generous help, the Ofir family received permission to rebuild the cabin. The reconstructed home now enjoys a unique ambience, where you will be charmed by the serenity and beauty of a bygone age and the fragrance of its oak and chestnut timber.
Every Friday and Saturday the cabin welcomes visitors to the winery, with wine, honey and platters of delicious goat’s cheese from the Galilee Abirim Dairy.
Haddas and Zvika Ofir, both third generation of farmers, built on their land in Alon Hagalil a vineyard, a winery and an Apiary.
