At the Yiftah’el Winery you will enjoy a variety of wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Shiraz, Marselan, Petite Sirah – reds, and Roussane – white.
The winery produces some 5000 bottles a year, all purely varietal.
The winery’s Visitors’ Centre invites you to become acquainted with our celebrated wines and to sample some of the best wine Israel has to offer.
We’ll introduce you to the full range of the red wines produced in our winery, along with expert explanations.
At the Yiftah’el Winery you can arrange tours that combine a visit to our wine cellar, a guided tour of the vineyard, wine-tasting and purchasing.
Pre-arranged tours are available throughout the year.
Haddas and Zvika Ofir, both third generation of farmers, built on their land in Alon Hagalil a vineyard, a winery and an Apiary.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
