Shahaf Avraham and Tomer Suissa are friends from the North of Israel, who have worked together in the past. Tomer, who studied under famed bakers Hans and Galit Bertele and Estella, and also apprenticed for Estella in France, creates cakes and other baked goods that are as beautiful as they are delicious. The space’s design is pleasantly eclectic, and includes a bar mounted on a bicycle that the couple dismantled and rebuilt. Tosha offers a wide variety of patisserie and other baked goods, including yeast cakes, coffee cakes, chocolate and cheese cookies, mousses, croissants, quiches and much more.
Shahaf Avraham and Tomer Swisa are friends and co-workers from northern Israel, who decided to make their dream come true and opened Tosha. The name “Tosha” is a combination of their names, Tomer and Shahaf.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
