At pastoral Kibbutz Afek, the artist Eldad Bahar set up a space to create his handicraft – fine leather art products.
Omanya provides creative leather workshops for all ages.
In his beautiful studio he teaches and guides groups, organizations and families.
The workshop can be individually suited to the needs and request of the client; Participation in a training course in leather tailoring and stamping and come out with a beautiful and high-quality product.
Such a workshop may take several hours or over several sessions.
The studio offers plenty of parking, a pastoral environment, a warm family atmosphere, a cup of coffee and personal attention to every guest.
The artist Eldad Bahar, Born and raised in Kibbutz Afek, Brings the leather craftsmanship back to life in his studio and workshop.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
