La Pampa is a home-based meat restaurant at Mizpe Hila. It is located on a patio overlooking magical and calm mountainous view.
Ilanit and Eran built the restaurant in their backyard and together with their children they lovingly cook and serve its food.
Eran, born in Argentina, was raised with Argentinian cuisine in a food-loving family, and today he combines his childhood dishes with local Galilean touches to make his own special courses.
The pace of the meal is determined by the fragrant smoke coming from the meat-smoker, that slow pace in an inseparable part of the overall experience. The courses are serves at an easy pace with small kitchen surprises each time.
The menu varies according to the meats in the meat-smoker – prime and rich cuts more often than not.
Argentinian starters such as empanadas and chorizos are served alongside Galilean ones. The main courses are based on meat that spends hours in the meat-smoker before you arrive. Its long stay in the smoke, created from Galilean wood and herbs, turns the meat savory and adds a unique aroma to it. Fish are also on the menu.
The atmosphere, food, green landscape and quiet surrounding make for an unforgettable Galilean meal.
