In the heart of the Elmarsa restaurant, in the ancient port of Akko, is the “Marsa Bar” . Marsa Bar is open throughout the weekend offering a tapas menu from Chef Alaa Musa’s kitchen, a selection of alcoholic beverages and great music.
It offers a night of lively entertainment, including cocktails and drinks at the bar, comfortable couches and an uninterrupted stream of alcohol.
The bar hosts special, intimate, private events, that we make sure are festive and lively celebrations
Birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties and special events (up to 30 people).
The entire unforgettable experience is made complete by the attentive service of the Mersa Bar staff, who will allow you to enjoy every moment until the wee hours of the night.

Alaa Musa, who always dreamed of cooking, traveled to Europe and worked at several Michelin-starred restaurants. When he returned to Israel, he decided to open a restaurant with Marwan So’ad, a childhood friend, and together they have been running Elmarsa restaurant since 2012.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
