If you’ve always asked yourselves how we make Bouza, or even what ice cream actually is, or perhaps you’ve wanted to create Bouza for yourselves – you will be happy to hear that we’ve opened “Bouza House” – an ice cream parlor along with tours, workshops and a concept store on Kibbutz Sasa. Our ice cream workshop is designed for children from 6-12.
The workshop was designed in consultation with Rinat Cohen, an educational counselor.
What does the workshop offer?
“Young Scientists” for children aged from 6-12.
Is icecream something for chefs alone? Or perhaps for scientists? – Well, it’s for both! In Bouza’s Young Scientists’ Workshop, the young participants will enjoy a glimpse into the world of the ice cream- maker, the ice cream man. We’ll explain, in clear and simple terms, the scientific process involved in preparing ice cream, we’ll mix flavors like real life chefs, and prepare ice cream using various techniques.
Length of the workshop: 60 minutes.
Workshop times:
The workshops take place on Saturday from 10.30 a.m. (conditional on a minimum number of participants)
(For workshop activities during school vacations and festivals, check the right sidebar: “Activities for families at Bouza House during school vacations and festivals)
