Chemist Jamal Hamoud, the owner of Aya Natural, grew up in the tradition of the Galilee.
He is certified in health management systems and was formerly head of a branch in the medical corps.
To this day he guides the process of producing olive oil from the olive groves of the Galilee all the way to the olive presses, in order to connect current knowledge to the nature in which he grew up, based on the tradition of his forefathers.
It is possible to meet Jamal and hear him tell his story and that of the Druze heritage in Beit Jann.
Till today, Jamal carefully follows the olive oil extraction process, from the Galilean olive plantations to pressing at the olive mill, in order to incorporate the most current of knowledge into nature and his ancestors’ traditions.
