About Us — JNF-USA Information Center for the Western Galilee in Old Akko

The JNF-USA Information Center for the Western Galilee sits in Old Akko and includes a shop and gallery.
The JNF-USA Information Center is located in a beautiful building that underwent a strict conservation process combined with a modern and impressive design in the heart of Old Akko. The information center, managed by Western Galilee Now — Small Business Consortium, is located at the entrance to the spice market and is open seven days a week with the aim of providing tourists with extensive information about Akko and the Western Galilee. The center hosts changing art exhibitions and the “Taste of the Galilee” store that sells select Galilean products from the producers of Western Galilee Now.

*Western Galilee Now — Small Business Consortium was founded in 2011 by businesses of the Western Galilee to jointly promote the region’s cultural, historical, and geographical wealth. The small business consortium aims to promote tourism in the area, with direct contact between tourists and the unique people behind the works and creations. Western Galilee Now is supported by the American non-profit organization Jewish National Fund (JNF-USA) as part of the vision for the development of the Galilee and Israel.
